Thorne - Super EPA - 90 Caps

Super EPA helps maintain the body's normal inflammatory response in muscles and joints, enhances mood, supports a healthy heart and brain, and promotes a healthy insulin response. Thorne's Super EPA is NSF Certified for Sport®. The two most important omega-3 fatty acids from fish – EPA and DHA – are beneficial for the cardiovascular system.* These two fatty acids support good circulation by promoting healthy blood vessels, enhancing blood flow by optimizing vascular endothelial function, and maintaining already normal triglyceride and cholesterol levels.* They also support healthy brain function, cognition, and mood.* Thorne's Super EPA, a best-selling product for more than two decades, provides the highest quality, purest fish oil available. Molecular distillation is utilized to ensure the removal of cholesterol and contaminants from the raw ingredients, including PCBs and heavy metals. Super EPA is NSF Certified for Sport®. Omega-3 fatty acids are categorized as essential fatty acids because humans must obtain them from food or supplementation; i.e., they can't be made from other substances in the body. EPA and DHA are important throughout adulthood, as well as during periods of increased brain growth that characterize prenatal and postnatal development.* Dietary supplementation with DHA and EPA has proven beneficial for a number of the known higher mental functions.* Because an athlete needs to know that his or her supplements are trustworthy and compliant, every batch of an NSF Certified for Sport® product is tested for compliance with label claims and to ensure the absence of more than 200 substances banned by many major athletic organizations, including stimulants, narcotics, steroids, diuretics, beta-2 agents, and masking agents.
