The Super Anchor Safety Retro-Flash Kit with RS-10 Anchor mounts directly over existing asphalt shingles—no removal required. To protect the anchor and fasteners from the elements, developed the Retro-Flash: a 20-gauge metal flashing that slides beneath the course of roofing above the anchor. It’s secured by the roofing material and installation caulking, creating a weatherproof seal. For a seamless look, you can paint it to match the roofing color. Features RS-10 into Top-Chord/Truss: Simply center the anchor over the truss and nail or screw the anchor down securely. RS-10 through Roof Decking into Backer-Board: Install our ¾” backer board under the current roof sheeting. Screw the RS-10 Anchor through the roofing/decking and into the backer board.
