Weight: 2.83 kg in size M (with bag, carabiners, pod+handle and seat plate) About the ALTIRANDO LITE 2 After the success of the ALTIRANDO LITE, the designers of the Supair team were faced with the challenge of creating a reversible harness worthy of succeeding the first generation. The design of the ALTIRANDO LITE 2 was inspired by the successes, but also by the possible improvements of the previous products. The program includes a harness reversible at plate that is lighter, better accessorized and easy to useUse. This harness is for pilots who are progressing and want to practice hike & fly or travel with their paraglider. Its light composition and reversible structure make it an ideal choice for a hike & fly practice. Indeed, the ALTIRANDO LITE 2 aims to offer you the best possible equipment, whether you are walking or hiking, by proposing both a comfortable harness with a high level of passive safety, as well as a real comfortable-to-wear backpack , ideal for hiking, which adapts perfectly to your morphology. The ALTIRANDO LITE 2 is equipped with a pre-formed subcutaneous airbag that ensures a High level of passive safety from takeoff. The reserve pocket is also positioned under the seat. Its design has been worked out for a simple installation of the parachute in the pocket and to eliminate any risk of involuntary opening of the pocket. Thanks to its hybrid seat , this harness combines the comfort of a plate harness and the safety of a legstrap harness. The closure of the belly strap is done with two Cobra automatic buckles for an easier and safer installation in the harness. The backpack is designed for a comfortable and highly accessorized carry so that you can forget about the weight of your gear during the hiking phases. The shoulder straps are designed to offer plenty of storage space, whether it’s for your accessories or for hydration during the climb. The roll-top closure of the backpack allows you to always adapt the volume of the bag to your equipment for a compact and efficientStorage . Note that the backpack is removable and can be disconnected from the harness if needed. Lighter than the ALTIRANDO LITE 1 and yet better accessorized, the 2nd generation of the range is a versatile harness that will adapt to your needs, whether on the ground or in the air.   Features steering Sitting position Mountain and progression flights Plate/legstraps hybrid seat plate Possibility to add a footrest Security Pre-formed airbag at take-off thanks to a rigid roll bar Integrated subcutaneous parachute pocket 30mm automatic carabiners Ventral and legstraps closure with 2 Cobra automatic loops Redesigned rescue pocket structure Equipment/Comfort This harness reversible offers the following features: In harness mode: Polypropylene seat plate Pre-equipment for footrest Speed bar pulleys 3D shaped backrest to fit the pilot’s body Rigid foam backrest Hydration system passage In bag mode: Ergonomic shoulder straps Removable belt Hydration system passage Storage In harness mode: Large back pocket Zipped side pocket In bag mode: 1 open side pocket that can be used as a stick holder 1 zipped side pocket 2 Pockets with leash on the straps for a Flask or other accessory 1 zipped pocket on the waistband Settings In harness mode: Adjustment of the shoulders Adjustment the distance of the belly band Adjustment of the backrest inclination Adjustment Lumbar In bag mode: Adjustment of the shoulders Adjustment of the waist belt Adjustment load reminder Roll-top and compression strap Materials Fabrics: Nylon 210D R/S 44 ROBIC Nylon 230T Triple R/S Straps: Dyneema 12mm Polyamide 15mm Polyamide 25mm Homologation EN Standard LTF Standard CE PPE standard Composition This harness comes with the following accessories: reversible backpack Polypropylene seat plate Carabiners automatic Zicral 30 mm Handle and pod for rescue parachute Speed bar Dyneema solo rescue elevators User’s manual (USB key) 3D model Altirando Lite 2   Flybubble – test & review of the ALTIRANDO LITE 2 Security: A – Parachute pocket B – Under-seat pre-shaped airbag C – Back pocket storage and airbag Technical Data S M L XL Pilot height (cm) 155 – 175 170 – 185 180 – 195 190 – 205 Weight of the pilot (mini – maxi)(kg) 60 – 80 65 – 85 70 – 100 90 -120 Weight of the harness Ready To Fly (kg) * 2.58 2.83 2.95 3.07 Weight of the harness accessorized ** 2.75 3.00 3.10 3.22 Weight of the harness without RTF bag (kg) *** 1.94 2.20 2.29 2.41 Practice hike & fly, flight on site hike & fly, flight on site hike & fly, flight on site hike & fly, flight on site A – Back height (cm) 62 65 71 75 B – Height of the backrest tilt adjustment  (cm) 31 34 38 40 C – Length of seat (cm) 44 46 48 50 D – Width of seat (cm) 37 39 41 43 E – Height of anchor points (cm) 43 45 45 48 F – Distance between points (cm) 36-44 37-45 38-48 40-50 Damping system Airbag Airbag Airbag Airbag Homologation EN1651+A1 / LTF / EPI CE EN1651+A1 / LTF / EPI CE EN1651+A1 / LTF / EPI CE EN1651+A1 / LTF / EPI CE Tandem (Pilot or passenger) NO NO NO NO ACRO NO NO NO NO Winching YES YES YES YES Releasable carabiners NO NO NO NO Parachute pocket volume 2.9L to 5.3L 2.9L to 5.3L 2.9L to 5.3L 2.9L to 5.3L Volume of the storage bag 70 70 90 90 *Ready To Fly **Accessorized ***Without bag harness ✔ ✔ ✔ backpack ✔ ✔ Seat plate ✔ ✔ ✔ Carabiners ✔ ✔ ✔ Handle + pod emergency ✔ ✔ ✔ Rescue risers ✔ Speed bar ✔ A – Back height B – Height of the backrest tilt adjustment (cm) C – Seat depth (cm) D – Seat width (cm) E – Height of the attachment points (cm) F – Distance between the attachment points (cm)   Colors ZOOM ON THE HARNESS When lightness rhymes with comfort Despite the light structure of the harness, the designers wanted to keep comfort at the center of the design of the ALTIRANDO LITE 2 at flight. To do so, the seat of the harness combines plate and legstraps. The plate guarantees a great precision of piloting while the legstraps ensures a better safety to allow you to pilot serenely and comfortably. The backrest is cut into different panels to perfectly fit your morphology without pressure points that could bother you. This cut of the backrest also allows to lighten the harness without impacting the comfort. Compared to the first generation of the ALTIRANDO LITE, a lumbar adjustment has been added for an even more precise adjustment of the harness to the curves of your back. A zippered pocket is located on the left side of the harness to keep your belongings close at hand. The outlet for the camel back hose is located on the left shoulder of the harness while the right shoulder strap offers a place to hang a vario. The ALTIRANDO LITE 2 offers a better weight/comfort ratio than the first generation with a lighter design without impacting on convenience at flight. Safety to fly with a light mind In order to be easily and safely attached to the harness , the closure of the belly band is done with two Cobra buckles. This type of fastening makes the closing of the chest strap and the legstraps simple and fast. The harness is equipped with a pre-formed airbag protection with a rigid roll bar that offers you protection from the moment you take off. Just like the first generation, the ALTIRANDO LITE 2 has a subcutaneous rescue pocket integrated into the harness. To assemble your rescue parachute, you only need the Rush piece available in the emergency riser shaft of your harness. The handling of the assembly was thought so that you can install it anywhere, whether it is in workshop, at home or outside. The pocket is locked with zippers and cables to secure the rescue and prevent unintentional opening of the pocket. Light and durable The ALTIRANDO LITE 2 is lightweight but built to last. The highly stressed components of the harness are reinforced with more resistant materials to follow you in all your adventures and many hours of flight. This harness light with its robust structure makes it the ideal equipment to accompany you in your progression, whether on the ground or in the air. ZOOM ON THE BAG A bag made for hiking… The ALTIRANDO LITE 2 is a reversible harness that aims to be as comfortable on flight as it is on foot. To do so, the accessorization of the bag has been improved to offer you many storage spaces. On each shoulder strap is a pocket equipped with a leash that allows you to store various accessories while securing them. You can, for example, install a Flask or a water bottle to always have water at hand. Two pockets are also available on the side of the bag, one is zipped to store your stuff and the second is open to potentially hold a pair of poles or any other item you want to keep easily accessible. The belt is also equipped with a closed pocket on the right side. … that fits to you… The ALTIRANDO LITE 2 bag comes in two sizes depending on the size chosen for the harness. The bag that comes with the S and M sizes will have a volume of 70 L while the bag for the L and XL sizes will be 90 L. However, the difference is not limited to the capacity of the bags as the backrest is also sized differently to fit your body size. You can adjust the length of the straps, the load reminders, the Strap chest and the belt. Also note that the belt is removable and can be removed if your bag is lightly loaded and you want to transfer the weight of the bag higher on your back, like a trail bag. … and your equipment! The ALTIRANDO LITE 2 bag is now closed with a roll-top. In addition to being easy to handle, it allows your bag to adapt to the volume of the equipment you are taking along. Indeed, you can carry a school wing as well as a small mountain glider while keeping a compact equipment for a more comfortable carrying. In addition to the roll-top, the bag opens with two zippers that allow a convenient opening of the bag to easily store your equipment. ALTIRANDO LITE 2: More than just a harness The bag of the ALTIRANDO LITE 2 is removable and can be disconnected from the harness. This allows you to benefit from a lighterharness when you do not practice hike & fly. This slight weight gain can allow you to gain mobility for inflating sessions or school slopes, for example. The two elements are designed to work together but can be used separately: the harness can be flown without the bag and the bag can be used independently of the harness. The connection between the harness and the bag is very simple using two zips. Why 3 weights? The ALTIRANDO LITE 2 is better accessorized than the first generation and is now delivered with the rescue risers and the speed bar.
