Sunset Palm Trees Dendritic Agate Pendant

A dendritic agate resembling palm trees at sunset is set in a hand fabricated, sterling silver and 14 karat gold setting (the chain is 14k gold filled) and hand scribed with with palm trees and a little haiku I wrote: Sun setting on palms End to a glorious day Please bring me my wine Chain is  19” and can be worn at any length.  Dendritic agates: Dendrites are inclusions within a stone that appear organic and plant like. Millions of years ago, trace amounts of manganese and iron in solution from neighboring rock gained access to these forming agates. The elements, after seeping thru fine surface fractures, crystallized inside.  In the most rare agates they resemble natural beauties like trees, flowers, corals and moonlit nights.  These gemstones are highly sought after and collectable.
