Sunset Over Cinque Terre

Feel yourself being rocked back and forth gently on a sailboat off the cost of the Italian Riviera as you gaze across the Mediterranean into one of five colorful little fishing villages, called the Cinque Terre. Sun drenched colors of this magnificent jewel tease your eyes as they wind up the steep pathways into the shops, your nose taking in the fresh seafood, bread, and coffee, the sound of people laughing, working, and eating. The Vineyards are just above in the hilltops, so having local wine to go with your meal is a must. Cinque Terra is one of my most favorite places in Italy (perhaps in the entire world), and for me it encompasses what Italy truly is, a place of distinct history, beauty, incredible people, food, and amazing landscapes. The charm of Little Italy mirrors that same warm feeling with its people walking about the unique shops, restaurants, and colorful buildings. So alive…so full of life…so perfect.
