Sunset at Harper Pier

Harper Pier is a recreational pier with great crabbing just minutes away from my home. Next to it is a large wetland area that has fast changing tide patterns. During low tide, one can enjoy a nice walk on the sandbar to the water's edge, to catch the most peaceful sunset to the west. This painting was done on such an evening. I did apply my creative license and added a fisherman at the land's end and those container ships one often spots in Puget Sound waters. Medium: Watercolor Dimension: 13"x9"
