SunRotor SR-8 - 48VDC Centrifugal Solar Pump (Submersible)

SunRotor SR-8 - 48VDC Centrifugal Solar Pump (Submersible)   The SR-8 is a multi-stage centrifugal submersible pump designed for higher daily volume on shallow-to-mid lifts and for sites where hard or caustic water makes rubber stators a poor fit. Unlike helical-rotor designs, the SR-8’s stacked impellers move generous water at modest PV input, so smaller arrays can still fill tanks quickly and keep livestock, wildlife, and remote homesteads supplied. Stainless construction, a field-repairable wet end, and above-ground electronics (with the matched SunRotor controller) create a durable, low-maintenance system that starts early, runs late, and stays serviceable for years.   Product Details High daily gallons: Multi-stage impellers deliver strong flow at 50–150 ft working heads; excellent for tanks and troughs. Hard-water ready: Silt/caustic-resistant centrifugal chamber avoids the rotor wear common to progressive-cavity pumps. Flexible power: Operates from solar, battery, or hybrid input via the SunRotor DC controller to match site conditions. Efficient performance: Designed to produce useful flow on modest arrays and maintain output through changing irradiance. Installer friendly: Standard 1" FNPT outlet, clear controller wiring, and a serviceable design to minimize downtime.   Technical Specifications Category Specification Pump type Multi-stage centrifugal submersible Nominal motor voltage 48 VDC Usable voltage range 36–48 VDC (with controller) Recommended PV power ~310–800 W Maximum functional lift (TDH) ≈250 ft (76 m) Flow at 100 ft ≈10.0 GPM with ~800 W / ~90 V PV Outlet connection 1" FNPT Submersion guideline Up to ~100 ft below static water level Construction Stainless body; silt/caustic-resistant centrifugal chamber Serviceability Readily repairable in the field Typical applications Livestock/wildlife tanks, storage transfer, cabin supply on shallow–mid lifts
