Sunrise Emergence

Pilot Peak in the Beartooth Range emerges from morning clouds just after sunrise on a glorious fall morning at the height of aspen color. After a night that saw snow in the high country, I shivered through an autumn dawn here until the sun touched my back and lit the aspen trees before me with golden light. All around I could feel time rushing forward and the arrival of a new season.  This incredible, medium-format image is offered is a variety of sizes as both an archival quality photographic print and also on fine, ready-to-hang aluminum.
