SUN—MOON—RISING, by spencer jude perez

Poetry, chapbook, 28 pages, from Bottlecap Features. SUN—MOON—RISING is an exploration of the astrological placements through the lens of poetry. Every astrology chart is unique to the individual and moment, yet each chart has energy and involvement from every sign and planet. Using themes and imagery tied to the zodiac signs, planets, and houses, each poem focuses on a specific placement and its conditions. Astrology is a tool meant to explore ourselves and our connection to the universe around us, this collection aims to use the poetic form to imbue the energy and movement of each placement down to its structure. spencer jude perez is an astrologer & poet from The Bronx. spencer jude has served as the president and literary editor on the student-run magazine Cabbages & Kings and has been published in No, Dear.
