Key Functional Details 125mm stem length Adjustable angle from 0° to 60° Forged alloy construction Universal bar clamp fits both 25.4mm and 31.8mm handlebars (shims included) Fits 1" and 1-1/8" fork steerers ISO-MTN safety certified Black finish Compatibility & Technical Notes Compatible with 1" or 1-1/8" threadless steerers Fits 25.4mm or 31.8mm handlebars using included shims 125mm extension length Angle adjustable between 0°–60° Designed for road, hybrid, commuter, cruiser, and MTB comfort setups NOT intended for aggressive trail or jump riding Service / Ownership Context This stem is meant for dialing in rider position and comfort. Once your angle is set, bolts should be torqued properly and checked periodically. Adjustable stems trade some stiffness for flexibility in fit. Fit & Use Signals Good Fit: Commuters, cruisers, hybrids, comfort MTB builds, riders needing bar height adjustment. Not A Fit: Performance road bikes, aggressive trail bikes, or riders seeking maximum cockpit stiffness. This is a comfort/fit stem, not a performance stem. Biggest reason people buy it: they want bars higher without swapping parts. 125mm is long — always double-check reach before installing. Adjustable stems flex more than fixed stems. Normal for this style. Most common mistake: customers crank the angle but don’t re-torque bolts correctly. Use the included shims — don’t force 25.4 bars into 31.8 clamp. Not for hard MTB riding or jumps. Riders like being able to experiment with fit before committing to a fixed stem. Complaints usually come from people expecting it to feel like a race stem. Who this is really for: comfort builds, cruisers, older riders, commuters. Who should avoid: aggressive riders or anyone chasing stiffness. Mechanic advice: set angle first, align bars, torque faceplate evenly, then torque steerer clamp. Recheck after first ride.
