Sunflowers Quilt Pattern

Sunflowers Quilt Pattern fills your sewing room with scrappy sunshine, cheerful petals, and fresh modern farmhouse charm. This traditionally pieced quilt pattern includes two sizes: a 64" x 75" throw quilt and a 40" x 51" crib quilt, making it a bright choice for cozy beds, nursery décor, or a handmade gift that feels warm all year long. The sunflower petals are wonderfully scrap-friendly—use 6" x 6" squares from your stash, or choose coordinating fat quarters, fat eighths, or 1/4-yard cuts for a more curated look. With confident beginner-friendly construction and intermediate-level results, these bold blooms are satisfying to piece and easy to personalize. Designed with detailed step-by-step instructions, full-color diagrams, cutting charts, and piece-labeling tags, Sunflowers helps keep every stem, leaf, petal, and seed disk organized as your quilt garden grows. The throw size uses 60 petal squares or 10 fat quarters/1/4-yard cuts, while the crib quilt uses 24 petal squares or 8 fat eighths, plus yardage for seed disks, stems, leaves, background, backing, and binding. The mix of geometric petals and soft botanical shapes gives the finished quilt a lively, sunlit feel that works beautifully in golden yellows, autumn oranges, soft pinks, or any floral palette you love. Whether you’re raiding your scrap bin or planning a coordinated fabric pull, this sunflower quilt pattern is a happy, stash-friendly project from start to finish.
