Sunday Polo Match

This Giclee oil painting captures the essence of polo's elegant athleticism through two riders—numbers 11 and 12—as they navigate the field with raised mallets and focused determination. Their pristine white uniforms contrast against their horses' golden coats, while the impressionistic background in soft blues and creams creates atmosphere without distracting from the central action. The rear-view perspective places viewers directly in the excitement, creating a sense of movement and anticipation. The artist skillfully balances precise detail in the players and mounts with looser brushwork in the surroundings, perfectly embodying the traditional Sunday match where refined sportsmanship meets raw power in this timeless "sport of kings."
