Sun-Kissed Towel Pattern

Bring bold, visual appeal to your loom with our Sun-Kissed Towels—the featured project in this month’s Art of Contrast series! These towels are woven using the eye-catching crammed warp technique, where sections of densely packed warp threads alternate with balanced areas to create a sculpted, rhythmic fabric. The result? A visually striking, absorbent towel with substance, structure, and summer-ready style. You’ll be working with Aurora Earth 8/2 Cotton in six bright and cheerful summer shades, each framed by crisp bands of bright white. A white weft unifies the design and lets every color shine, bringing bold contrast to life in the most joyful way. From rigid heddle to 4-shaft, this project proves that creative warping can transform your weaving from ordinary to unforgettable! Bring bold color and striking contrast to your summer weaving! This project was inspired by our vibrant Aurora Earth Summer Bundles in color Sun-Kissed. There are 12 stunning palettes to spark your creativity. Want to weave your towels in a different color palette than these Sun-Kissed colors? Simply choose your favorite Aurora Earth Summer Bundle and pair it with an 8 oz cone of Aurora Earth Bleach White to create your own custom version!
