Sumo Seat

The Sumo Seat is the essential building block of the modular Sumo Sofa system, designed to stand beautifully on its own or connect seamlessly with other Sumo elements. Generously proportioned with firm support and sculptural comfort, it brings effortless flexibility to modern living spaces, whether used as a standalone lounge chair or combined into a larger configuration that adapts to the way you relax. Crafted for everyday durability, the seat is upholstered in 100% post-consumer polyester and built with an internal structure that maintains comfort and shape for years of indoor use. Tested to 70,000 Martindale rubs, it delivers long-lasting performance suited to real living, while a non-woven polyester inner bag with Dacron lining supports the seating structure and a separate non-woven polyester backrest inner bag ensures consistent comfort and stability. Every part of the modular Sumo Sofa is designed to be easy to clean, repair, or replace, helping keep your seating looking fresh over time. Moving to a new home or ready for a different layout? The modular construction makes reassembly simple, and covers can be swapped for a new color whenever you want a refreshed look. Built to last, Sumo is furniture made to grow old with you. Created with sustainability and quality in every detail, the series features a robust metal frame for strength and stability and recycled-foam cushions that retain their shape through years of lounging. When the time eventually comes to part ways, each component can be fully disassembled and recycled, making the Sumo Seat as thoughtful for the planet as it is comfortable in your home.
