Summer's End Sipper Pack

As we're taking in the last rays of this fine summer, we are continuing to add light and easy drinking wines to our collection, but also a few with some added concentration for those forthcoming chilly nights. This sipper pack will prepare you for whatever the transitional month of September brings our way. Our 6 pack includes: NV Pierre Sparr, Cremant d'Alsace Brut Reserve - Alsace, France Impressions: Maison Pierre Sparr is a historic French estate celebrated for showcasing the region’s unique terroir through meticulously crafted, expressive varietal wines. Their Crémant d'Alsace Brut Réserve is a traditional-method sparkling blend of 80% Pinot Blanc and 20% Pinot Auxerrois aged for 12 months on its lees, yielding a fine, persistent mousse and a vibrant bouquet of green apple, summer blossoms, and wet stone. On the palate, this bright acidity is beautifully balanced by a rich, mouth-filling texture layered with notes of fresh lemon curd, brioche, and a clean, bone-dry finish. 2024 Dama del Rovere, Soave Classico - Veneto, Italy Impressions: Dama del Rovere is a distinguished Veneto estate renowned for working some of the highest-altitude vineyards in the Soave Classico zone. Their 2024 Dama del Rovere Soave Classico is crafted primarily from hand-harvested Garganega grapes grown on the mineral-dense, volcanic slopes of Monte Calvarina, which are native-yeast fermented and aged on fine lees in stainless steel. The resulting white wine reveals an expressive bouquet of fresh lemons, citrus zest, white blossoms, and crushed stones, leading to a refined, medium-bodied palate balanced by tangy acidity and a distinctive, refreshing sea-salt finish. 2024 Dizsnoko, Dry Furmint - Tokaji, Hungary Impressions: Disznókő, a historic Hungarian estate classified as a "Premier Cru" in 1743 and backed by Bordeaux pedigree under AXA Millésimes since 1992, is a pioneering force at the forefront of Tokaj’s modern dry white wine renaissance. Their 2024 Disznókő Tokaji Dry Furmint is a 100% varietal expression crafted from native Furmint grapes grown on a single, steep 250-acre hill composed of volcanic clay and perlite pebbles. Fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel. The wine delivers a translucent robe bursting with crystalline notes of green apple skin, citrus peel, chalky minerals, and wild flowers. The palate is exceptionally vibrant and medium-bodied, fueled by a striking acidity that evolves into an elegant blend of orchard fruits, lemon zest, and a savory, distinctly saline snap on the bone-dry finish. 2024 Tenuta Sella, 'Orbello' Coste della Sesia Nebbiolo - Piemonte, Italy Impressions: Tenute Sella, crafting wine in Alto Piemonte since 1671, is a historic estate revered for its elegant, alpine-influenced expressions. Their 2024 'Orbello' Coste della Sesia blends hand-harvested Nebbiolo with native Vespolina and a touch of Cabernet grown on mineral-rich volcanic soils. Fermented in stainless steel and aged briefly in wood, this red offers a bright bouquet of fresh cranberries, red cherries, and wild thyme. The palate is light-to-medium-bodied, pairing crisp alpine acidity and fine-grained tannins with vibrant red fruit and a savory, crushed-stone finish. 2023 Le Clos du Caillou, 'Cuvee Unique - Vielles Vignes' Cotes du Rhone - Southern Rhone Valley, France Impressions: Le Clos du Caillou is a historic estate in Courthézon famed for its exceptional vineyards that sit directly adjacent to the prestigious Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. The winery is celebrated for crafting elegant, Grenache-dominant blends using traditional aging in large oak foudres. This particular bottling opens with an aromatic burst of wild garrigue, lavender, and crushed black pepper, leading into a lush palate of juicy black raspberry and dark plum balanced by silky tannins and a vibrant, elegant finish. 2023 Lomita, Cabernet Sauvignon - Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico Impressions: Hacienda La Lomita is an organic, family-owned estate founded by Fernando Pérez Castro in Mexico’s Valle de Guadalupe, where winemaker Gustavo González crafts terroir-driven wines with a focus on fresh, low-intervention viticulture. Their 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon departs from heavy, over-extracted styles to deliver a lighter, high-energy profile defined by vibrant acidity, smooth tannins, and bright flavors of dark red fruits, cassis, and savory minerals. This elegant vintage beautifully reflects its coastal valley origins, offering an approachable yet structured palate that finishes with remarkable clarity.
