Sulphur Dun

Sulphur Dun One of the most anticipated hatches in trout fishing, the Sulphur Dun is a proven producer whenever trout are keyed in on emerging mayflies. FINATICS Sulphur Duns are tied to imitate the natural insects commonly found during sulfur hatches across rivers and streams throughout the country. Available in both Light Sulphur and Rust Sulphur color variations, these flies help anglers match the subtle differences often seen in natural mayflies from one fishery to the next. The Light Sulphur features the classic pale yellow appearance many anglers associate with a sulfur hatch, while the Rust Sulphur offers a darker amber and rusty tone often found in mature duns and regional sulfur species. Whether you're fishing rising trout during an active hatch or prospecting likely holding water, the Sulphur Dun remains a must-have pattern in any trout fly box.
