The Suehiro Debado S sharpening stones are used for coarse sharpening knives on Hapstone. Stone series is considered the premium line of Suehiro. It has been specially adapted to the requirements of professional Japanese cooks, who sharpen their knives daily to ensure maximum precision during cutting. The stones absorb hardly any water and are therefore immediately ready for use Suitable for low alloy carbon steels and high alloy tool steels The name Debado is composed of the Japanese words »Deba« (knife) and »Do« (sharpening stone). Suehiro is a smaller Japanese company which has been producing sharpening stones for three generations. Kenkichi Okumura, who founded the company, began with selling stones from his own natural stone deposit, which gained high recognition in the whole of Japan. These many years of experience in the field of natural stones enable Suehiro to successfully produce synthetic sharpening stones since 1964. 180 Characteristics: Stone size: 150x24x6mm Grit size: 180 Material: aluminum oxide This is a fast cutting stone.
