Beatrice Wool's screen-printing skills shine in this detailed print depicting the traditions of Sukkot. From shaking the lulav (palm branch) to the ancient tradition of aliyah regel, (making a pilgramage to the Temple in Jerusalem in ancient times), all the key elements are present. Best of all, all the participants shown are women! For many years, Boston-based artist Beatrice Wool balanced family life with honing her artistic skills. She ultimately found her favorite medium in silk screening. Her Judaica-oriented artwork frequently depicts Biblical stories and personalities, scenes in the Holy Land, and the Jewish holidays. Though Wool passed on in 2012, she lives on in her art. Approximately 30" x 22" Unframed print
