It operates independently without requiring a separate transmitter and supports three common locating frequencies: 33 kHz, 65 kHz, and 82 kHz. Adjustable power settings allow operators to reduce bleed-over on short runs in congested areas or increase output for more resistant circuits. Weighing just 0.8 lb., the clamp is easy to carry into the field and provides up to 16 hours of continuous use on a full USB charge.
