Belonging to the collection "Pleasure Center," this painting explores themes of vulnerability and connection through a striking and intimate portrayal. The artist presents the female form covered in rose petals, a symbol of both beauty and fragility. The skin, peeling open at the breasts, conveys a poignant narrative of loss, with the exposed wound reflecting a deep sense of inversion and pain. The inclusion of an insect creature perched on the solar plexus represents the individual's connection to the external world, hinting at the juxtaposition between inner suffering and the external forces that influence one's existence.
