Named for the dark, moonlit character of its surface, this is an enigmatic matrix material sourced from the same region as Hubei turquoise, though it isn't turquoise itself — chemically and visually its own thing, born from the same mineral-rich ground. Deep charcoal-to-olive webbing spreads across a cooler gray-green body, pooling into rich brown cavities dotted with tiny druzy-like crystal clusters that catch the light like scattered stars. No two pieces web the same way, giving each one its own quiet, atmospheric character.
