Unmatched emerald greens make this Variscite unparalleled! Desert Oasis Variscite, from one of the oldest working mines in the world. Mining tools and artifacts found there date back over 3000 years. From the Yazd district, Iran. This gemstone is typically crushed for it's iron content much the same way Bisbee turquoise was for copper. It is also blasted and open pit mined by large equipment. For this reason we had our material fracture sealed with a very low viscosity treatment but the green Variscite is untouched and has no enhancements.
