Stylecraft Echo Taper Black DLC Clipper Blade and Deep Tooth Cutter

Still sharp? It might be time to refresh your blade. Our black Diamond Carbon blades, crafted from our signature DLC (diamond-like carbon) material, are built to outperform traditional Stainless Steel with rust-proof durability, cooler operation, and self-sharpening endurance that stays sharper, longer. Different from our standard Echo blades, which come with thinner, deeper ridges to produce that crunch barber's crave, the fixed Echo Taper blade also features a subtle downward angle at the tips, designed to lift the hair as users cut. It’s easier to blend with than other blades and gentle on the scalp, making it exceptionally forgiving. Paired with it is the Deep Tooth cutter, engineered with longer teeth and wider gaps that make it ideal for all types of bulk removal, while keeping that distinct sound.   • ECHO TAPER BLADE allows for louder crunch due to its thinner and deep ridges • FOR ALL HAIR TYPES and textures • BLACK DIAMOND CARBON (DLC) is rust and corrosion-free • BULK REMOVAL made easy • COMPATIBLE WITH MOST STYLECRAFT and GAMMA+ hair clipper models • FULLY ADJUSTABLE ZERO GAP for crisp, close-cut finish and intricate lines • FEWER BLADE CHANGES when properly maintained and cleaned • PROFESSIONAL-QUALITY materials for maximum performance Show Less -   BLACK DIAMOND CARBON DLC Extremely durable, rust and corrosion impermeable, and stays sharper longer with the coolest operation.  GOLD TITANIUM Ideal for sensitive skin, easy to sanitize, and perfect for all-around hair cutting.  STAINLESS STEEL Premium quality Japanese Stainless Steel is super strong and durable for maximum performance while being the most cost effective.   BLADE ALIGNMENT To align your blades, make sure that the movable top blade does not extend over the fixed bottom blade. If not installed properly, it can snag or drag on the skin. MAINTENANCE & CARE We recommend regular cleaning with a blade or fade brush and a dry cloth to wipe away excess debris, or spray with a disinfectant high-grade cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth, and add a few drops of barber blade oil along the bottom of the teeth, not lower near the screw area. Maintenance kit not included. ACHIEVE ZERO GAP When you have the front and back blades flush. To achieve this on clippers, make sure your lever is in the shortest up position and remove the screws. Place the blade teeth where they are touching while the upper blade is slightly further than the lower blade.  Don't tighten the screws to tightly, leave at medium tension so you can maneuver the blades. Once in position, finalize and tighten the screws.
