Stuntboy

Portico Reeves lives in the best house ever: Skylight Gardens. To him, it's a castle, and behind every door, a different story unfolds. Secretly, Portico is Stuntboy, whose superpower is to make sure everyone else is super. And safe. Super-safe. Be it Mr. Mister, so he doesn't trip over his own feet, or Mr. Brawner, so he doesn't hurt himself selling deck chairs. His best friend Zola is always by his side. But Portico, aka Stuntboy, is most worried about his parents, who have been on a tear lately and who argue about something new every day: sometimes it's the couch, sometimes a table, and finally, even Portico himself. No wonder everything inside him tenses up and his phobias take over Portico's body. An extraordinary graphic novel about a likeable protagonist who is simply super. Humorous, authentic, and empathetic. Written by NYT bestselling author Jason Reynolds, winner of the Schneider Family Award, and colorfully illustrated throughout by Raúl the Third.
