StuG III Ausf. E

StuG III Ausf. E miniature, representing the German assault gun used during the early years of World War II. Built on the Panzer III chassis, the Ausf. E was armed with the short-barreled 7.5 cm StuK 37 gun, designed primarily for infantry support and engaging fortified positions. Introduced in 1941, the StuG III Ausf. E featured improvements over earlier variants, including increased internal storage and better operational efficiency. It saw service on multiple fronts, including the Eastern Front and North Africa, supporting German infantry units with mobile firepower. Its low profile, reliability, and effectiveness made the StuG III Ausf. E an important early variant in the development of the StuG III series.
