Studlock Mantel Bracket

When you want a solid wood mantel or a chunky shelf to float off the wall with nothing holding it up, this is the bracket that does it. Built for thick pieces from 3 to 7 inches, it is 100% steel and mounts to the studs, then disappears entirely inside the mantel, so all anyone sees is the wood on the wall. If you buy a mantel or thick shelf from us, the right bracket is already included. It is the patented Studlock design, cut, welded, and powder-coated semi-gloss black in our own shop. It comes in seven lengths, from 10 inches up to 70, each matched to a mantel or shelf length so you pick the one that fits, with support rods in 4-, 6-, or 8-inch depths to match how deep the piece is. Every bracket ships with wood screws, two per rod. Fastened into the studs, it holds up to fifty pounds per stud — enough to carry a substantial solid-wood mantel. Made in the USA.
