Chamazulene soothes irritated and inflamed skin and is gentle enough for the most sensitive skin. Botanical infused fractionated coconut oil, sacha inchi oil, cammellia seed oil, blackberry, & evening primrose are blended as the base of this balm that will condition, smooth, and seal in moisture. It makes a great intensive moisturizing mask when used at night. Ingredients include: Blue tansy - Also known as Moroccan Chamomile, blue tansy is an herb that has been used for soothing & healing abilities for years. Not only is it great for skin irritations and abrasions, but also has been shown to smooth out broken capillaries, improve skin elasticity, and improve skin tissue strength. Yarrow Flower - Yarrow is very well know for healing capabilities making it extremely effective for wound care and treating skin abrasions. More recently, yarrow has also been proven to have anti-aging properties by increasing skin thickness and reducing the appearance of wrinkles, crows feet, and pores. Sacha Inchi Oil - Also known as Inca Peanut, sacha inchi is a perennial shrub grown in the Amazon rainforest for the nuts that it produces from unique star shaped fruit. These nuts contain a high protein and fatty acid content qualifying it as a  “super food”. They also contain a large percentage of linolenic fatty acids as well as vitamin E. The oil pressed from these nuts is an excellent skin protectant and emollient. It helps repair the skin lipid barrier and has potent anti-oxidant qualities due to high amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids, primarily Omega-3 (ALA). It is great for all skin types, but especially beneficial for acne prone, oily, and aging skin. Chamomile - Chamomile is known for healing properties including flavonoids that act as anti-oxidants to protect the skin from damaging free radicals.
