Stryker Crossfire Arthroscopy System

The Stryker Crossfire Arthroscopy System is an integrated surgical platform designed for orthopedic and arthroscopic procedures across major joints such as the knee, shoulder, hip, ankle, elbow, and wrist. The system combines powered shaver and bipolar radiofrequency (RF) energy functionalities into a single, space-saving console, allowing surgeons to perform tissue resection, debridement, ablation, coagulation, and hemostasis with streamlined efficiency. The Crossfire system is compatible with Stryker’s SERFAS energy probes, Formula shaver handpieces, and the CrossFlow arthroscopy pump, offering customizable settings and universal footswitch control to optimize procedural workflow and OR space. Key Features: Two-in-One Console: Integrates RF and shaver control, reducing equipment footprint and OR clutter. Universal Footswitch: Operates both shaver and RF functions, plus CrossFlow pump features, with customizable controls for surgeon preference. Enhanced Ablation and Coagulation: Provides aggressive ablation, precise coagulation, and improved arc initiation for a variety of tissue densities, with constant voltage to minimize unwanted charring. ReconiSense Technology: Integrates with the CrossFlow pump for real-time joint temperature monitoring and automatic adjustment of suction and flow rates, enhancing safety and efficiency. Arc-to-Scope Detection: Rapidly detects and terminates electrical arcing to protect arthroscopes from damage during RF ablation. Customizable User Interface: Allows saving and recalling surgeon-specific preferences across multiple consoles. Clinical Applications: Suitable for abrasion, resection, debridement, and removal of bone and soft tissue, as well as ablation, coagulation, and hemostasis in orthopedic and arthroscopic procedures. Compatibility: Works with SERFAS energy probes, Formula shaver handpieces, TPS small joint handpieces, and integrates with the CrossFlow pump for fluid management. Safety: Maintains intra-articular temperatures well below cell necrosis thresholds, even during extended ablation at maximum power.
