stringback driving gloves

Throughout the 1950s and into the 1960s, racing drivers relied on the stringback driving glove to protect their palms from wooden steering wheels and keep their hands cool and dry while they sped across the countryside.  Our beautifully crafted driving gloves will take you back to that simpler era every time you slip them on for a drive.  Featuring a short, split cuff, these gloves will pair perfectly with your Autodromo watch, and have no annoying snaps to do up.  To determine your correct glove size, measure the circumference of your hand at its widest point by wrapping a measuring tape around your open palm, across the knuckles as shown below. Use the table below to find the correct size. The fit is narrow. The glove should feel "poured on." specifications Drum-dyed genuine sheep leather palm 100% cotton crochet back Sewn in Indonesia Available in S M L XL
