While it is very popular with commercial growers it is also ideal for home gardeners because of its earliness, its productivity, its flavor, and the fact that plants yield over a remarkably long period of time. The pods are round, medium green, slender, and stringless, coming in a concentrated set for easy harvesting. The beans have a very pleasant texture when cooked, and they maintain their flavor after freezing for winter use.
