Before You Buy: Important Troubleshooting Many issues that seem like a faulty control box can be fixed without replacing it. Review these steps carefully. 1. No Lights on the Button Panel If nothing lights up when pressing buttons: Check that the chair has power Confirm the transformer light is green Try plugging the power supply into a different outlet Make sure the outlet is not controlled by a wall switch If using a battery, be certain it is not dead by unplugging it and running power to the recliner directly. Confirm all wires are properly seated in every port on your existing control box. If the chair is not receiving power, replacing the control box will not solve the problem. 2. Chair Is Stuck or Not Moving Properly If the headrest, backrest, or footrest will not move: Run the reset function.
