Definition and Role of a Strength and Conditioning Coach A strength and conditioning coach is a specialized professional dedicated to enhancing the physical performance of competitive athletes and athletic teams. Their primary goals include improving athletic performance, preventing injuries, and optimizing movement mechanics within a sport. By designing and implementing evidence-based training programs, these coaches help athletes achieve peak performance and maintain it throughout their careers.
