Strada Dress - Golden Palm

This dress is a full moment from every angle. A floor-length strapless maxi dress in the most dramatic deep forest green, it is covered in a large-scale abstract botanical print — oversized cream, gold, and ivory floral and leaf motifs with leopard-spotted centers scattered across a rich, saturated emerald and teal background that shifts and glows with a beautiful, painterly depth. The print alone is extraordinary. But then there is the construction, and that is where this dress becomes genuinely unforgettable. The bodice is gathered and ruched at center front into a beautiful keyhole-style opening, and anchoring that opening is the detail that makes this dress: a self-fabric halter strap strung with large cream and gold tortoise beads — simultaneously the closure, the strap, and the jewelry — that ties behind the neck with a clean, elegant finish. From the front, it reads as a beautifully styled necklace layered over a strapless dress. From the back, the full drama reveals itself: a wide, open cutout at the midriff exposes a clean horizontal band of skin between the strapless bodice and the skirt waistband, while the beaded halter strap drapes beautifully down the open back in a long, elegant line. The skirt is fluid and A-line, falling to the floor with a beautiful, easy drape that moves with a graceful, effortless sweep.
