No, we do not recommend storing your RV with full gray tanks as this will likely result in sensor malfunction from grease that re-deposits on the gray tank walls. How long can I leave Store-It in my black tank? There is no amount of time that is too long. In fact, the longer the better! The bacteria and enzymes that power Store-It will continue chewing through any waste that is left inside the tank, until there is nothing left to eat But don’t worry, Store-It will not damage any of your tank components, seals, or valves, no matter how long you let it sit inside the black tank! Can Store-It be used in cold climates? We do not recommend storing your RV with a full black tank if temperatures could drop below freezing as this could lead to damage from ice expansion in your plumbing lines. If you are storing your RV in climates where freezing is possible, always have your RV winterized before storage to prevent damage from freezing pipes and tanks.
