STORARO - WRITING WITH LIGHT - LE MUSE

WRITING WITH LIGHT - 4 - "The MUSES" The Muses" is not just a book, but the project of a lifetime about individual artistic motivators... "STORARO: WRITING WITH LIGHT" , with the fourth volume entitled "The MUSES". Storaro continues to express his very personal philosophical and visual interpretation of the image universe. The idea of a book dedicated to "Le Muse" comes from the desire to recognize the sensations, sweetly fascinating, of the creative inspirations that both Plato and Hesiod loved to identify as sweet winged maidens who represented the various "ARTS", known in their time: the Legend, the Tragedy, the Dance, the Eloquence, the Fame, the Poetry, the Music, the Comedy, the Metaphysics... Storaro Images, in collaboration with Mondadori, continues the publishing project "STORARO: WRITING WITH LIGHT" with the fourth volume entitled "The MUSES". Vittorio Storaro, one of the great authors of cinematography of all time, continues to express his very personal philosophical and visual interpretation of the image universe. The idea of a book dedicated to "Le Muse" comes from the desire to recognize the sensations, sweetly fascinating, of the creative inspirations that both Plato and Hesiod loved to identify as sweet winged maidens who represented the various "ARTS" known in their time: the Legend, the Tragedy, the Dance, the Eloquence, the Fame, the Poetry, the Music, the Comedy, the Metaphysics ... Storaro has the courage in this book, to recognize and present a new Muse, dedicated to Imagination, she who, like Tenth: "The Cinema", feeds on the first nine sisters.  "WRITING WITH LIGHT", states Storaro, is not just a series of books but a project of life. A Encyclopedia of a Visionary, a Researcher, and a Scholar of how much philosophers, scientists, painters, and artists all over the world have spent in research around the mystery of vision. Each book is a collection of philosophical thoughts, writings, paintings, and photographic images in double impression, the fruit of fifty years as self-taught and professional... in practice: from an eternal student. The project allows him to consciously express his personal perception of the image, in all the films that have seen him collaborate with the director, particularly with Bernardo Bertolucci-Francis Ford Coppola-Warren Beatty-Carlos Saura-Woody Allen, etc... film projects that gave him a long list of international awards, including the three OSCAR Awards for Film the Cinematography of "APOCALYPSE NOW" - "REDS" - "THE LAST EMPEROR". What has already been published on "The LIGHT", "The COLORS", "The ELEMENTS", is now published on the study of "The MUSES". Storaro hopes to soon be able to complete this second trilogy also with the volumes, fifth: "The VISIONARIES, sixth:" The PROPHETS ".
