Stop Making Sense Medley - Screenprint on T-shirt

Stop Making Sense Medley is a hand-screened graphic T-shirt from Rough Draft, made as wearable art for the part of the day when optimism starts sounding suspicious. A greatest-hits pileup of Rough Draft slogans: Stop Making Sense, Give Up on Your Dreams, Ignore the Past, Create the Future, and Live Laugh Lust. It reads like a bootleg motivational poster after the internet got to it first. This piece pulls from absurd humor, punk and skate graphics, internet fatigue, and studio-made mark-making. Each garment is printed by hand, so small shifts in ink, placement, texture, and distress are part of the work.
