Available Size4.2 fl oz / 125 ml Professional RecommendationThis is the mist to choose when skin looks dehydrated or reacts easily and you want a toning step that adds comfort instead of tightness. The official directions call for two to three sprays onto cleansed face and neck — or an application with a cotton pad if you prefer more control — avoiding the eye area, then leaving it on and following with serum and moisturizer. It can also be re-applied at any point in the day to refresh the complexion, which makes it useful in air conditioning, on flights, or in the Florida humidity when skin feels warm but still dry underneath. Applying your next step while the skin is still slightly damp is the simplest way to get more out of it. Among the toning steps in this range it is the gentlest and the most neutral. Lime Refresh Tonique is the brighter, more invigorating option, Hawthorn Tonique is the balancing choice for skin that is not especially reactive, and the Mangosteen Revitalizing Mist leans toward the look of refined texture. Stone Crop Hydrating Mist asks nothing of the skin, which is why it is also the one we most often recommend for the days after a peel or a professional facial, when a routine should be as simple as possible. Safety InformationFor external use only. Spray onto cleansed skin from a comfortable distance, keep the mist out of the eye area, and close your eyes as you apply. If you prefer to use it around the eye contour, apply with a cotton pad rather than spraying directly. Patch test on a small area before the first full application if your skin reacts easily, and avoid using it on broken or freshly treated skin, or on skin that is sore after time in the sun, until the area has settled. Discontinue use if redness, stinging or discomfort develops. Do not spray toward the mouth, and keep the bottle closed, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Not recommended for: Spraying directly into or toward the eyes. Broken or actively irritated skin, or skin that is sore after time in the sun. Internal use or application near the mouth and nostrils. Storage in a hot car or on a sunny windowsill, which can affect the formula. Anyone with a known sensitivity to any ingredient on the label, including lavender. Frequently Asked QuestionsWhen in my routine does the mist go? Straight after cleansing, before serum and moisturizer. You can also use it at any point later in the day whenever skin feels dry or warm. Can it replace a toner? For most routines, yes — it is the toning step here, applied either as a spray or with a cotton pad. If you already use a tonique you like, the mist is still worth keeping for daytime refreshment. Can I use it over makeup? Yes. Two to three sprays refresh the complexion during the day, and it is often used to help set mineral makeup. Keep it a light mist rather than a soaking. How many sprays should I use? Two to three, as the official directions specify. More is not better — the point is a fine, even veil, then your next step applied while skin is still slightly damp. Is it suitable after an exfoliating step? It is one of the calmer things to reach for afterwards. Rinse the exfoliating product away completely, wait until skin is settled, then mist and follow with your moisturizer.
