Stirrup 1 Pendant

The Original BTC Stirrup 1 Pendant Light brings that perfect blend of industrial character and refined functionality that transforms any space into something more intentionally designed. Inspired by the searchlight on the back of a toy lorry, this isn't your typical pendant fixture - the compact aluminum shade creates focused directional lighting while maintaining the clean aesthetic that works beautifully in modern kitchens, dining areas, or home offices. The adjustable shade allows you to position the light exactly where you need it, whether that's highlighting a breakfast bar, providing task lighting over a workspace, or creating ambient illumination in a reading corner. What makes this pendant light exceptional is the quality of both design and construction. Available in natural aluminum, black, or white finishes, each shade is hand-spun from sheet metal using traditional techniques that date back to the 1880s. The black and white cotton braided cable adds authentic character while the compact 4.25-inch diameter makes it perfect for spaces where you want substantial lighting presence without overwhelming proportions. The adjustable drop length ranges from 16 to 61 inches, giving you flexibility for different ceiling heights and lighting needs. Installation is straightforward, and the dimmable capability means it adapts seamlessly to different times of day and activities. Original BTC approaches pendant lighting from their heritage of British industrial design, where utilitarian objects were built to last generations while maintaining honest beauty. Working from their metalworks facilities using hand-spinning techniques that create authentic, unprocessed finishes, they understand that the finest lighting should enhance daily routines through both reliable performance and visual appeal. Their philosophy centers on creating fixtures that improve with age and character, which is why the Stirrup 1 pendant represents the kind of investment piece that becomes more essential to your space over time rather than just another lighting solution.
