Stimulate - Dark Blend

Greater Goods Roasting's Stimulate Dark Blend is designed for coffee lovers who crave body, sweetness, and depth without sacrificing nuance. This Colombian-Peruvian-Ethiopian blend marries classic dark roast richness with a surprise thread of syrupy brightness from washed Ethiopian beans—think butterscotch and roasted almond wrapped around baking chocolate, with just enough high-toned sweetness to keep things interesting. Tasting NotesFlavor: Butterscotch, roasted almond, and baking chocolate dominate the cup, with subtle Ethiopian floral and berry whispers adding complexity on the finish. Body: Big and mouth-coating, with a velvety texture that coats the palate. Acidity: Low and smooth, letting the sweet, nutty flavors shine. Finish: Long and chocolatey, with a lingering nuttiness that invites another sip. Brew MethodsStimulate is a versatile workhorse. As espresso, it pulls thick, syrupy shots with pronounced sweetness and minimal acidity—ideal for straight sipping or milk drinks. In French press, the blend's full body and chocolate notes come forward with a satisfying, almost chewy texture. For drip or pourover, use a medium grind to highlight the butterscotch sweetness and roasted almond clarity without muddiness. It's forgiving across brew methods, making it a reliable daily driver for dark roast enthusiasts.
