Still Life Bright Green

Yeon Kyung Park’s atmospheric paintings evoke the fleeting nature of memory and sensation, translating the ephemeral into soft, luminous compositions. Through diffuse colors and delicate edges, she captures the intangible—half-remembered moments that drift between consciousness and fading recollection. For Park, painting is an act of uncovering, a way to trace the unconscious and give form to emotions and experiences that might otherwise go unnoticed. Each work is an archive of personal memory, offering both artist and viewer a quiet space for introspection. By embracing abstraction, Park invites us into a world where perception dissolves, allowing for new connections to emerge in the ever-shifting landscape of the mind.
