Stilbite

I know Zeolites can be a yawner, but every once in a while you come across an eye-catcher, and I consider this piece to be just that. It features a large aggregate of numerous “bowtie” shaped, translucent and lustrous pink/salmon colored Stilbite crystals. The color of this Stilbite is not exactly the atypical salmon color, but as mentioned, it has a slight pink hue to it that makes it a bit more unique. This cluster sits centered on a beautifully contrasting plate of white crystalline Quartz. Great luster, contrast and balance with no damage. An awesome specimen!
