Seattle designer Zuzana Korbelarova grew up in Prague, surrounded by centuries of art and architecture. In her adult life, Korbelarova found her home in the Pacific Northwest. Both of these contrasting surroundings influenced her creative vision. The organic, feminine, understated beauty of nature blends together with the industrial, masculine and man-made in the jewelry she creates. Jewelry making is Zuzana’s newly discovered passion. After receiving a gift of jewelry making tools and silver wire from her husband on her birthday, it opened a whole new creative outlet and she found herself enthralled in the puzzle of manipulating metal and stone.
