Quick facts Item Elephant pendant Material .925 sterling silver Size Approx. 1" Style Animal symbol charm, no chain included Use Everyday wear, keepsake gift Care Polish gently with a silver cloth; store dry Meaning & symbolism Across many cultures the elephant is a well-loved symbol of wisdom, strength, and good luck — a raised trunk in particular is often said to carry good fortune to those who wear or display it. The pendant's fine detailing, from the wrinkled skin texture to the trunk's curve, is cast cleanly into solid silver. It makes a meaningful everyday piece or a small gift, and pairs naturally with other pieces from our manifestation & abundance jewelry. Some wearers choose to face the trunk upward for its traditional good-luck association, though there's no single "correct" way to wear it — pick whichever orientation feels right to you. Come see the detailing in person at our Kendall, Miami shop, or shop it online and have it delivered. How to wear it The pendant is sold without a chain, so choose the length and finish that suits you — a 16–18" chain sits close to the collarbone, while 20"+ lets it hang a little lower. Find a matching chain in our necklaces & pendants collection. Because the design has fine, raised detail, a slightly thicker chain (1.5–2mm) tends to complement it better than a very fine, delicate chain that can get visually lost next to the pendant. Care Sterling silver naturally tarnishes with air exposure over time; this is normal, not a defect. Wipe with a soft polishing cloth to restore shine, avoiding abrasive cleaners or polishing cloths meant for other metals. Remove it before swimming, showering, or bathing, and before applying lotion, perfume, or hairspray directly to it, since moisture and chemical exposure speed up tarnishing. Store it in a dry, airtight pouch or a zip-top bag between wears to slow the process further. It pairs naturally with the rest of our sterling silver pendant charms, including our Fairy Sterling Silver Pendant. Frequently asked questions What is the Sterling Silver Elephant Pendant? It's a small, detailed elephant charm, about 1", crafted in solid .925 sterling silver. This is a decorative and symbolic piece, not a health product or medical device. Is it solid sterling silver or plated? It's solid .925 sterling silver, not a plated base metal. How do I wear it? Slide it onto a chain of your choice (sold separately) — a 16–20" chain works well for most wearers. Will it tarnish over time? Sterling silver can tarnish naturally with exposure to air, moisture, and skin oils; this is normal and not a defect. A quick polish with a silver cloth restores its shine. Should I take it off before showering or swimming? Yes — remove it before swimming, bathing, or showering, and before applying lotion or perfume directly to the area, since prolonged exposure to water, chlorine, and salt water speeds up tarnishing. What does the elephant symbolize? Across many cultures the elephant is a traditional symbol of wisdom, strength, and good luck, with a raised trunk often said to carry good fortune. This reflects a tradition many people find meaningful, not a guaranteed effect.
