Sterling Silver Earrings - MILBURN ROSE

How about the detail on these sterling silver spoon earrings? So much detail and texture with floral design indicative of when this pattern debuted in 1904. These earrings are SOLID silver, not silverplated. Additionally, the findings are sterling silver making these earrings completely sterling. This particular piece of silverware comes from the estate of my Bestie's stepmom. Helping her stepsister clean out the house after her mother's death, she found a bundle of silverware. Most of it was silverplate, but there were a handful of these Sterling Milburn Ros pieces. I made a pair of earrings for my Bestie's stepsister to remember her mother from. With the remaining pieces, I made these lovely earrings.  Manufacturer: Westmoreland Silver Pattern: Milburn Rose Year: 1940-2000 (these are ca. 1960s/70s) Size: 3" long from top of earring hook to base of earring. About 5/8" wide. For all our designs we choose wonderful vintage/antique silverplate cutlery. Once chosen, the pieces are modified and beautified by HAND; they are cut, drilled, filed and polished. Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear to the sterling,  fine scratches or marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We do our best to disclose any condition issues we note.
