It comes with a sterling silver chain in the length and thickness of your choice from the options below. Dimensions: Ashes Setting: 8mm Overall Pendant: 20mm All dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly with every casting. The back of this piece can fit up to approximately 15 characters of engraving, including spaces and simple symbols, in one line across its widest point; multiple lines of fewer characters can also be accommodated. Examples of the font options available for engraving can be seen here. If you have any engraving-related questions, please submit your inquiry in the contact form below or send us an email.  Please Note: The "N", "E", "S", & "W" on the face of this pendant have been darkened in photos to enhance visibility of this design feature. In person, the lettering will not be as dark as pictured online for any metal type. Please reach out with questions about this. We also have a ring design in sterling silver that matches this pendant. Each piece is set in our office, located in Southern California. Only a very small amount of ashes is used in the setting process; the exact amount needed depends on the size and depth of the piece's setting, but for simplicity's sake, a teaspoon of ashes will suffice for most orders. The setting process solidifies the ashes and brings out their natural color, which may differ from those in the piece photographed. Within 1 business day of placing your order, you will receive a detailed order confirmation with information and instructions relevant to your unique order.
