Ruby Emerald Cut Necklace

This necklace is a perfect gift for a minimalist, or if they are born in the month of July, which is this month's birthstone. The Ruby pendant features a sterling silver bezel and is a simple yet elegant rectangular shape. The chain this Ruby pendant sits on is Sterling silver and is a box chain.  Rubies are made from corundum, a crystalline form of aluminum oxide. The ruby’s red color comes from trace amounts of the element chromium, which replaces aluminum in the mineral and changes its color. When corundum is red, we call it ruby. When it’s any other color, such as blue, yellow, or pink, we call it sapphire. You can identify a ruby alongside other gemstones thanks to its rich, pink-to-blood-red coloration.  Measurements: The chain on this necklace extends out to 18 inches in length. The Ruby gemstone is 6mm long and 4mm long. Cleaning Instructions: You can clean the Sterling Silver chain and gemstone setting with a Sterling Silver jewelry cleaner or a polishing cloth. To clean the gemstone, you can use a damp soft cloth, then gently pat dry. Shipping Terms: Your order will be carefully packed and shipped via USPS or UPS within 3 weekdays upon completed checkout and will come with a jewelry gift box.
