Sterling Opal with Silver Seed of Life

Derived from the Sanskrit word "upala" (meaning "valuable stone"), this stone consists of both colloidal silica and up to 20% water – bringing the fortitude of earth with the unfathomable mystery of water. It is considered to be the crystal of the New Age, and has been beloved by alchemists and mystics throughout the centuries for its reputed ability to facilitate connection to the higher self and to the wisdom of the Ancients. It depicts the origins of all matter, in geometric perfection, with six circles (the six days of work) resting inside a seventh circle (the day of rest, the sabbath).
