Steel Working Wall Light - IP44

The Davey Lighting Steel Working Wall Light blends authentic industrial heritage with functional design through its distinctive galvanised steel construction and protective guard that exemplifies the working lights originally used in British shipyards. This versatile wall light features hand-spun galvanised steel shade manufactured at Birmingham metalworks using centuries-old spinning techniques where sheet metal discs are formed at high speeds through localized pressure applied by skilled craftsmen. The clean, industrial silhouette adds authentic maritime character without overwhelming working spaces. Whether you're creating industrial interiors where authentic shipyard heritage brings character, enhancing workshops where robust construction provides reliable task lighting, or designing outdoor areas where galvanised protection ensures weatherproof performance, the Steel Working Wall Light delivers sustainable functionality and timeless industrial engineering excellence. This industrial working light features heavy-duty galvanised steel construction with protective guard that provides durability against harsh working conditions while supporting both indoor and outdoor installations. The hand-spun shade process begins with sheet metal clamped to formed blocks and rotated at high speeds until the disc adopts the desired shape, then finished through traditional polishing, weathering, or powder coating techniques. Features traditional British craftsmanship using authentic industrial techniques developed for London's East India Docks in the 1880s where Davey Lighting was established. As a result, you enjoy reliable working-grade lighting where exceptional industrial authenticity meets traditional manufacturing heritage with professional durability standards. Davey Lighting, established in 1885, designs with industrial tradition, British craftsmanship, and working functionality at its core. The Steel Working Wall Light reflects their heritage in authentic marine and industrial lighting originally created for shipyards and working environments, maintaining the same attention to detail required for demanding industrial service.
