HillCo Steam Wax Melter

The HillCo Steam Wax Melter renders beeswax using steam — fill the water reservoir, load your wax or cappings into the inner basket, plug it in, and watch clean wax drain out through the honey gate. No direct heat on the wax, which means cleaner output and less scorching. Features the same EZ-Drain tank design as HillCo's extractors, so you get a complete drain without tilting or scraping. Runs on 1500W/110V. Holds approximately 10 gallons of wax capacity. A 5-gallon bucket fits below the gate for collection. Key Features Steam Rendering — Steam from the water reservoir melts wax without direct heat contact. Cleaner wax output, less risk of scorching or discoloration. Inner Basket — Load wax and cappings into the basket. Rendered wax passes through; debris stays behind. Commercial cold-brew filter bags (5-gallon) work well as liner bags inside the basket. EZ-Drain Tank Floor — Same sloped floor design as HillCo's extractors. Wax drains completely through the gate without tilting the unit. 5-Gallon Bucket Clearance — Standard bucket fits directly below the honey gate for collection. 1500W / 110V — Standard household outlet. No special wiring required. ~10 Gallon Capacity — Suitable for rendering cappings from a full season of extraction or bulk wax rendering. Tip from customers: Running 2–3 passes through the melter yields very clean wax. Using 5-gallon cold brew filter bags inside the basket makes cleanup significantly easier.
