Stay-On Mittens

We love these baby and toddler mittens because they stay on, have an extra long cuff, and keep little hands warm and dry! The nylon outer, Thinsulate™Insulation, and cincher at the wrist on sizes small-large all combine to provide toasty fingers that stay that way! We carry this style in sizes xsmall and small, but prefer the winter sport mittens for bigger kids because they are more waterproof and durable for more active play. What makes Stay-On Mittens so popular: Extra-long cuff STOPS the SNOW from getting between the coat and mitten They don't fall off Tough grip palm makes them great for skiing, sledding and snowboarding—making a Snowman, too! No bulky and unsightly material covering the arm of the coat—you put the mittens on first! Waterproof Drypel Lining prevents snow or water from penetrating the mitten, while allowing moisture to escape from the hand cavity Thinsulate™ 40 Gram Insulation provides warmth without bulk Sizing Extra-Small (Ages 6-18 months - has NO THUMB) Small (Ages 1-3 years) Medium (Ages 2-5 years NOTE: Xtra Small mittens are the same as the other sizes except they have NO THUMBS to struggle with.  Their little hands stay warmer with all the fingers together...(and it was always impossible to get their thumbs in there anyway!) How Do I Use It? Any Tips? When putting these mittens on your little one, sit him/her on your lap and pull toward you! This is much more effective than trying to push the mitten onto a child's hand.  Materials Outer shell: 100% nylon Cuff: 100% acrylic Inner Lining: 100% polyester Insulation: 65% olefin, 35% polyester Care Hand wash with warm water, no bleach. Lay flat to dry. Product Origin: Made in China About Veranda Enterprises Veranda Enterprises is the home of SnowStoppers®, the innovative mittens with an extra-long cuff that keeps the mittens on and the snow out!  Founded eight years ago by a parent frustrated that as much as his children loved to play in the snow, they would get snow in their mittens or up their coat sleeve. The cold stopped a day of play and drove his kids indoors. Thanks to the extra-long cuff that is worn underneath the coat, cold wrists are a complaint of the past. Kids play longer and stay warmer with SnowStoppers® mittens and gloves. Veranda Enterprises has grown in the last eight years, adding advanced ski mittens, snow boots and hats to the SnowStoppers® line, and recently became the only United States distributor of Splashy™ Rainwear. The company that made it easier to enjoy the snow has now made it easier to enjoy the rain!
